Chester County Hospital is a part of the
University of Pennsylvania Health System, also known as Penn Medicine. The health system consists of six major hospitals, including nationally ranked The Hospitals of the University of Pennsylvania — Penn Presbyterian, and many outpatient care facilities. Chester County Hospital is a 329-bed inpatient community hospital located in West Chester, PA with satellite locations in Exton, West Goshen, New Garden, West Grove and Kennett Square, PA.
To meet the growing needs of the community, Chester County Hospital has undergone significant construction projects over the past few years including the Lasko Tower, which added 72 spacious rooms for cardiovascular patients, plus a mother and baby pavilion and orthopaedic/surgical recovery unit in 2014.
Most recently, the hospital completed its largest expansion project in its more than 125-year history, which included 250,000 square feet of progressive design, state-of-the-art procedural suite and new patient tower.
Although Chester County Hospital continues to grow, its leadership and staff strive to create a close knit work environment. Therefore, through our close relationships with multiple departments, our program has the capacity to customize learning plans toward the needs of our residents as well as their future goals. Through a collaboration with Penn Medicine, Chester County Hospital has vast professional resources available to all employees and trainees.
