Target Audience

Inter-professional and multi-disciplinary healthcare team members are welcome to attend conferences offered through PACE. Information regarding conference format, topics, speakers, target audience, and available continuing education credits will be described prior to each event. Conferences cover a range of contemporary topics in the fields of surgery, trauma, emergency, and critical care.

Types of Conferences

  • The John Paul Pryor Memorial PennTRAC Conference (PennTRAC) occurs every Spring.
    • Dr. John Paul Pryor was the Trauma Program Medical Director for the Trauma Center at Penn prior to his tragic passing fighting for our country overseas.  This conference honors his vision to provide timely and comprehensive trauma and critical care education to learners throughout our region.
  • The EMS Appreciation Event (every Spring) and the Trauma and Rescue Education Event ("Rescue Day" - every Fall) offer education specific  to prehospital providers.

UPHS Trauma Hours

Registrants who attend the PennTRAC 2023 virtual event in full will be eligible for 8 UPHS trauma hours upon completion of the course eval.
