About Dr. Armstrong

Daniel is a former US Navy submarine officer and current PGY1 in Urology. He was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia on a Virginia Class submarine and spent three years at the Pentagon working on the staff of the Chief of Naval Operations. He graduated from the Uniformed Services University in 2024 and completed internship at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. His clinical interests include reproductive health with prior research in the areas of fertility and vasectomy reversal techniques. He plans for a career in the Navy.

Research

Dr. Armstrong has been involved in Urologic research including in vasectomy reversal techniques, fertility rates in active-duty military service members, and predictive factors of vasectomy reversal success. He intends to continue research in the areas of battlefield Urologic trauma and testosterone supplementation in active-duty members exposed to blast trauma.
