About Dr. Tarr
Dr. Joesph Tarr is currently a PGY-7 reconstructive microsurgery fellow in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He completed a 6-year integrated plastic surgery residency at Northwell Health. His areas of interests include breast reconstruction and limb salvage.

Research
Dr. Joseph Tarr's research focuses primarily on optimization of surgical outcomes in autologous based reconstruction. Specifically, through minimization of donor site morbidity, improvement in wound healing, and overall recovery improvements. Additionally, he has an active research interest in the molecular pathways involved in wound healing and tissue regeneration.
