Penn Radiology Quality and Safety Team

The Penn Radiology Enterprise Clinical Effectiveness team includes Quality Improvement and Safety staff and physician representatives across HUP, PPMC, PMC, LGH, CCH and the Division of Community Radiology (DCR). Within each organization, Quality and Safety officers work with internal Clinical Effectiveness Teams to identify areas for improvement that align with the Penn Medicine Blueprint for Quality and Patient Safety.

The teams also benefit from the knowledge and expertise of residents in our Healthcare Quality and Leadership Track. Each year up to four residents are selected for this interdepartmental track which exposes them to a variety of formal quality tools as they engage in a two-year-long project.
