Breast Imaging in the Caribbean

The University of Pennsylvania Department of Radiology invites you to join us in Mexico in 2027 for a comprehensive CME review of all aspects of breast radiology. This meeting will provide exceptional education regarding basic principles and cutting-edge research, along with networking opportunities and practical refreshers for everyone – new attendings and seasoned veterans, private practice and academics, specialists and generalists. Topics will include the following and more: managing patients with high-risk histology, CEM, the axilla, BI-RADS 3, supplemental screening, advanced MRI protocols, and AI. Daily case conferences will prioritize strategies to enhance patient outcomes and refine breast imaging practices.
Course Objectives:
- Review the application and appropriateness of multi-modality supplemental breast cancer screening
- Improve image-guided breast procedure skills
- Summarize the updates in BI-RADS and the management of high-risk histology
- Describe how to optimize CEM and breast MRI imaging sequences and exam interpretation
- Discuss applications of artificial intelligence in image interpretation, quality, and risk assessment
