Nursing and Advanced Practice Providers Information

Penn Medicine is committed to supporting the clinical education of undergraduate and graduate students to advance their academic and career goals. The Department of Nursing Education and Advanced Practice will work to facilitate learning opportunities through clinical rotations.

Each year, demand for student placements exceeds Penn Medicine’s capacity. Submitting a clinical rotation request does not guarantee a placement. Penn Medicine’s ability to accommodate rotation requests is dependent on multiple factors. Penn Medicine does prioritize but does not guarantee placement for (1) certain academic partners and (2) Penn Medicine employees.
