Fellows at AGSFellows are encouraged to pursue scholarly activity during fellowship and are supported to present annually at the American Geriatrics Society national meeting. Faculty assist fellows in identifying scholarly projects based on fellow interest. Projects have included quality improvement (QI) initiatives, educational interventions, clinical research, and case presentations. Fellows also frequently attend and present at additional local, regional, and national conferences including the University of Pennsylvania Department of Medicine Research Day, Eastern Pennsylvania Geriatrics Society, and the Pennsylvania Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Society.
