About Dr. Makhoul
Peter was born in California but quickly moved back to Lebanon, where he grew up until the age of 17. He then returned to the US for college and medical school at the University of Massachusetts.
In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Peter is very interested in global health and is part of the Health Equity track. He is also part of the wellness committee, served as a GME safety officer during his R2 year, and helped put together the ED readiness course (EDRC) for the rising R2s. Peter hopes to eventually have a career in academic radiology and continue to explore global health and teaching.
In his spare time, Peter enjoys playing the guitar and playing (maybe too many) video games. He is passionate about sports and is an avid soccer player and lifelong fan of FC Barcelona. He also has a purple belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu and dabbles in other sports like padel and squash.
